framecode

ABOUT FRAMECODE

A discrete address.
A visible convention.

Framecode is one free calculator for translating a supported video timecode label and a zero-based frame offset within a single label cycle.

The exact physical rate and nominal numbering base are shown separately. That distinction makes it possible to see why a fractional-rate NDF clock label and elapsed seconds differ, or why a particular DF label does not exist.

Bounded and local

The tool processes entries in the browser. It needs no account, media file, camera or microphone. It does not inspect project metadata or make edits to a timeline. Copy and downloads are optional local actions; refreshing restores the example.

Advertising preparation

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled in this site's hosting settings for aggregate traffic and page-performance reports when its beacon loads. Read Privacy for measurement and hosting details. The calculator remains free. Publisher identification does not itself activate advertising or establish approval or earnings; the site's actual advertising configuration is described in the privacy notice.
